For runners aged 35 years of age and over.

It has become necessary to make changes to the start, finish and race distance for this year’s race. The British Pipe Band Championships will be held in Meadow Park with the Highland Games being held in the neighbouring Burgh Muir.

Stripping accommodation and race entry will continue to be in the pavilion in Meadow Park, Glasgow Road, Bathgate. Race entries will be taken from 1330 with last entries at 1420.

The race starts with one lap of the field at the Burgh Muir before exiting the field on to Muir Road where it joins the same course as previous years by turning right onto Burnside Road through Cochrane Street and up Waverley Street to turn left to Torphichen Road.

Turn right at Ballencrieff Toll up to the radio mast at Cairnpapple Hill then return to Burgh Muir and one lap of the field to the finish. The race distance is approximately 5.5 miles.

Race entry is on the day of the race in the pavilion in Meadow Park. Entry fee
