Friday Training – 21st Aug (60 sec hooter)
Friday Night Training at the track, meet in the pavilion for 6:5opm. Session starts at 7:00pm and finishes between 8:00pm and 8:30pm
All Sessions can be modified to suit fitness and ability.
All sessions preceded by full warm-up and followed by cool down. Athletes to avoid inside lanes during recovery and to be aware of other sessions and users of the track
Main Session:

Starting from the 100m mark, athletes run to the “start line”, i.e. 300m. Aim to start every 2 mins, with different groups setting-off each minute. Beginners and juniors aim for 10, or longer breaks, more experienced athletes up to 20. Try to maintain a consistent pace throughout, stopping when times increase by more than 5 seconds or running form begins to breakdown
