CATEGORY WIN FOR MIKE IN KENT

Lothian Running Club veteran athlete Mike Lieberman produced a fine run to win the MV60 category in the Thanet Half Marathon in Kent at the weekend.
In ideal conditions Mike covered the 13.1 mile undulating course in 1 hour 36 minutes 50 seconds which also placed him 30th overall.

AGE-GROUP SILVER FOR MAX

 At the Scottish Athletics Age-Group Championships at Grangemouth Stadium the clubs Max McNeil raced to a silver medal in the Under-20 5000 metres Championship.
Crossing the line behind VP Glasgow AC’s David Vernon, Max covered the 12 and a half laps of the track in 15 minutes 49.62 seconds.
