Iceland venture for Ted

One of the Lothian club’s elder statesmen, Ted Finch, was in action in Iceland at the weekend, the over-60 vet ran the Reykjavik Marathon. Ted crossed the finish line in 4 hours 14 minutes 15 seconds which placed him 503rd of the 808 finishers.

Ochil’s 2000 Hill Race

John Malcolm represented the club in Sunday’s Ochil’s 2000 Hill Race.
The gruelling event is run over a distance of  18miles with climbs of 5000 feet.
John finished well up in 21st place of the 79 finishers in 3 hours 30 minutes 49 seconds.

Parkrun wins for club members

There were outright wins and category wins for Lothian Running Club members at this weekends Parkruns. At Falkirk, Daniel McLaughlin was the outright winner with Carol Mabon the first FV 60-64 while at Strathclyde Jo Williams was the victor in the women’s category.
