FALKIRK PARKRUN [30TH JULY]
Keri, Martin and Shona Greig all took part in this weeks Falkirk Parkrun at Callendar Park,the youngest of the trio Kerri ,was first home in 20th place and 4th female in [21.36], she was followed by 45th Martin [25.26] and 59th Shona [26.49].
Lothian Running Club’s Jocelyn Moar won the Stromness Shopping Week 10k on Orkney for the second successive year.
Jocelyn who comes from the island completed the undulating course in 41 minutes 30 seconds which was a whopping 52 seconds quicker than her time 12 months prior.
AIRTH HIGHLAND GAMES
Nicola Kellock was the club’s only runner at Saturday’s Airth Highland Games, and was among the prizes with a third place in thr Youth’s 1600 metres Handicap, Nicola also contested the Youth’s 90 metres Handicap but was eliminated in her heat.
