Tuesday Intervals Training
Apr 29 @ 6:45 pm – 8:00 pm

We are currently holding two group sessions Tuesday Nights around Civic Centre.  Details are available each week in the Training section on TeamApp .  Please use team up to sign up in advance for your chosen sessions.

We would as ever ask people not to attend training if they are unwell and if in doubt to sit out the session.
We would encourage the usual precautions of good hand hygiene, access to a face covering if required and encourage physical distancing at training.
As per Scottish government guidance we would encourage the use of regular lateral flow tests to reduce the risk at sessions.
As it has been through out the pandemic our priority is ensuring club activities can continue in a safe manner as we know how vital physical health is in the current situation.

Junior Training Session
Apr 29 @ 7:15 pm – 8:30 pm
Welcome to Craigswood –  I appreciate its a little late on a school night but it’s a more secure and appropriate venue than using a shared public space . Enter by gate in Front car park please  – adults appropriately distanced !
On arrival (at 7.15) jog 2-3 laps of the track to warm up then gather at usual in-track area to register and do warm up drills and games. Session may then split, depending on numbers, into under 12 and 12 and over. Aiming to finish around 8.15 – usually with a relay or straight race – warm down laps to follow if desired. Will also include non running things – like throws , long jumps – and the occasional bleep test !
Committee have designated  these sessions will be chargeable to members at £2.00 (2021) ( potential new members are free for two weeks deciding if it’s for them and then chargeable thereafter as signed up members) – money raised will be re-invested in track hire, junior activities and event entries.
Please remember to dress for the weather – layers ! – this is an outside event.

Fiddlers Handicap- Winter Course
May 6 @ 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm

===============================================================================================
Notice:
We will be moving to the Winter Course from October 2023 until Mar 2024
Please note the start will be from the East End of the Civic Centre.
===============================================================================================

On the first Tuesday of every month, regular training is replaced by the Fiddlers Handicap Race.  Long and short courses are available for all standard.

Entry to the race is in the form of a Donation to a local foodbank.  Donations will be collected at the start.

Please go directly to the Start in plenty of time for your Predicted Start Time Latest-LongCourseStartTimes_byName

(see Fiddlers Page for course details and more information ).

First time runners should arrive promptly for brief induction and to be assigned a handicap time.  If you have a recent 5km time that would help.  You might also want to arrive in time to do a reccy of the course with someone that knows it.

We would encourage the usual precautions of good hand hygiene, access to a face covering if required and encourage physical distancing at training.
