A windy Wednesday [18th May] evening at the Meadows saw only 43 runners line up for this weeks 2 mile race.
Among them were the club’s Cliff Dicker and Ian Hall. Cliff was 38th overall and 1st MV60 clocking 15m 31s with Ian 40th and 3rd MV50 in 16m 17s.
The 2011 Scottish Highland Games season gets underway a week on Saturday and runs through until the the middle of September with Games taking place virtually every Saturday and Sunday as well as a few in midweek. The Games are an ideal opportunity for youth athletes to get regular competition....

Cliff Dicker was the only runner from the club taking part in this week’s Edinburgh Parkrun.
Cliff covered the 5k course in 23 minutes 33 seconds which placed him 70th out of the 217 finishers.
