Lothian RC’s Emma Mackie recorded two throwing PB’s while competing in the JSB Forth Valley League President’s Select match at Grangemouth Stadium on Saturday. Emma finished in 5th place in both the Under-15 Girls Javelin and Discus competitions. Her javelin throw of 15.94m was 1.87m firther than her previous best....

The club’s Max McNeil made his half marathon debut at a very windy Moray Half Marathon on Sunday. Despite being hindered by a stitch the Lothian runner who the previous week recorded a 10k track PB turned in another encouraging performance in finishing in 6th place in 1h 13m 10s....
With only four weeks of Parkruns to go until the end of the Club Championships, remember that you can still move up the leader’s board by improving or completing for the first time. Any result at Falkirk or Edinburgh Parkrun before end of September will count towards your total score....
