Fiddler’s Results Feb ’14

Results are now up for last nights Fiddler’s. Good turn out and some new faces, which is great to see. Some people remained remarkably consistent, while others conspired to confound my attempts to set handicaps by posting (in some cases huge) PBs, and while others demonstrated a certain aptitude for fiddling, by posting by far their fastest times in a good many months.

In the Short Course, in only her second attempt Tracy Robertson crossed the line first, setting a significant PB in the process. It wont be so easy next Month ;-). Tracy also managed to spur on our junior team captain Cara, who while just missing out on the win, also managed to post a new PB. Consistent as ever, Neve was just shy of her own PB in third place, while newcomer Natalie was only just behind in forth.

In the long course event, first across the line was Jack Maybury. Unfortunately he started on an unofficial start time (sorry I’m a stickler for the rules), so the winner this month was Lana Turnbull posting one of her fastest times for a while. Behind Lana, Alan Robertson also posted a PB, while Kevin manged his 4th PB in as many attempts.
