Club Vets 8th at Hawick
The Lothian Running Club’s male veterans squad finished in 8th place at the Scottish Masters Cross Country Championship at a wet and windy Hawick in the Borders on Saturday.
In total nine runners from the club contested the 5 mile course with the first four finishers contributing to the team points.
The first blue vest home in 31st place was Euan McInnes followed by in 48th Graeme Ackland, 68th Donald Shaw and 80th Kenton Jones for a total of 227 points. The overall Men’s title went to the team from Corstorphie AC.
