Edel runner-up & category win for David at Buchlyvie 10k

Lothian Running Club’s Edel Mooney turned in an excellent performance to finish runner up in the Women’s category in the Buchlyvie 10k race on Saturday. Her time of 37 minutes 37 seconds also placed her 9th overall of the 288 finishers. Victory in the Women’s race went to Shona McIntosh from the Hunters Bog Trotters Club in 36 minutes 42 seconds. Another fine run in the female category came from the club’s Lyndsey Fraser who finished in 5th place and 37th overall in 42 minutes 03 seconds.

The club’s David and Carol Mabon also contested the event with David taking the M60 title with a 43rd place finish in 43 minutes 07 seconds. Carol came home in 61 minutes 27 seconds for 12th in the F50 classification and 251st overall.
