Win 29 for Chloe at Capital Parkrun

Lothian Running Club’s Chloe Cox recorded her 29th win in the Edinburgh Parkrun on Saturday morning. This weeks event saw a new Scottish attendance record of any parkrun in Scotland with a record total of 560 runners. Chloe who also finished in 10th place overall covered the 5k course along the Edinburgh waterfront in 17 minutes 59 seconds. The only other club member in this weeks race was Jonathan Barclay who finished in 229th place in 24 minutes 39 seconds.

The club were also represented in the parkruns at Strathclyde and Falkirk both of which had good turnouts of participants despite the East League Cross Country match taking place at Broxburn. Colin Meek finished runner up the Falkirk run in 17 minutes 37 seconds with club mate Martin Greig 110th in 25m 59s.
Brian Morris was the sole club representative at Strathclyde Park where he completed the 5k course in 25m 47s.
