Cross Country Update

The closing date for entries for the Scottish Cross Country Relay Championships to be held in Cumbernauld on Saturday 26th is fast approaching.  If you wish to take part please e-mail kenmearns@aol.co.uk or text 07951 062053 with your name.  You need to be a current member of Scottish Athletics to run in the Relays.  Full details are on the Scottish Athletics website.  Closing date for entries is this Sunday 13th October.

The first East District League Cross Country meeting takes place at Stirling University Grounds on Saturday 19th October.  There is no need to pre-register to run for the club and you don’t need to be a SAL member.  There are races for u11’s, u13’s, u15’s, u17’s, Seniors and vets (over 40).  So long as you were born before 1st September 2004 you can run. First race for U11’s starts at 12.30.  Registration (£2 and £1 for under 11’s) will be in the Lothian Club tent near the Start/Finish – just look out for our banner.  Full details including map are on the Scottish Athletics website.
