FORFAR TITLE FOR CHLOE

Chloe Cox had to turn in a battling performance to win Sunday’s Forfar 10k Race. The Lothian runner had to dig deep into her reserves to hold off the challenge of Edinburgh AC’s Morgan Murphy.
When the pair crossed the finish line at Market Muir there was only 7 seconds between them, with Chloe, who was the only LRC member in the race clocking a time of 38 minutes 09 seconds. This also placed her an excellent 4th place overall of the 305 finishers.
This continued the club’s winning run in the women’s race with Chloe’s club mate Edel Mooney having been the victor the previous three years.

Over 70 club veteran Ian Legget contested the British Masters 10k championship in Glasgow where he finished 178th overall and 7th in the M70 category in 50m 31s.
