PB FOR MAX – SILVER MEDAL FOR IAN

TOM SCOTT MEMORIAL 10 MILE ROAD RACE.

Start of the Tom Scott Memorial 10 mile Road Race.

 Max McNeil continues to show fine form on the roads, on Sunday he produced another PB run in the Tom Scott Memorial 10 mile Road Race.

The event which also incorporates the the Scottish Athletics Championship saw the Lothian runner complete the 10 mile course within Strathclyde Country Park in 54 minutes 35 seconds which placed him well up the finishing order in 6th place.

His time was a full 90 seconds quicker than he recorded at the same event 12 months ago.

The club’s super-vet Ian Leggett aslo contested the race and picked up yet another medal with a second place in the MV70 category, Ian’s time of 1 hour 23 minutes 51 seconds placed him 174th of the 215 finishers.
