CATEGORY 50k TITLE FOR SCOTT

Lothian Running Club can boast another Scottish champion in their ranks.

Scott Balfour took the over-60 title in Sunday’s Scottish 50km Championship at Perth.

Scott, who also finished 11th overall covered the course within North Inch Park in 3 hours 59 minutes 28 seconds.

Finishing not far behind Scott in 13th position was Colin Meek in 4 hours 05 minutes 01 seconds.

A total of 41 runners completed the race.
