MAX SET TO RUN FOR SCOTLAND-EAST

MAX SET FOR SENIORS DEBUT

The Lothian club’s Max McNeil  has been rewarded for his excellent performances on the cross-country circuit this winter by being selected to represent the Scotland East team in this Saturday’s UK Inter-Counties Championships at Cofton Park in Birmingham.

The event which is incorporated into the McCain World Cross Country Trials and UK Cross Challenge finals meeting will see 45 teams from all over Great Britain and Ireland contest both the senior men’s and women’s races.Max who competed in the championships last year at under-20 level has now stepped up to the senior ranks.

  The men’s race will be run over a distance of 12000 metres and gets underway at 14.36pm.
