CLUB DUO SET FOR EMIRATES RUN

Two club members are set to be in action at this Saturday’s McCain National Indoor Open at the new Emirates Arena in Glasgow.

Max McNeil is down to run in the second of seven 1500 metres races with club junior Emma Mackie declared for the 26th of 29 races over 60 metres.

The McCain National Indoor Open event is non-Championship and will be run as an Open Graded. Athletes compete in mixed gender track and field events based on seeded performances.

Over 1000 runners from club’s all over Great Britain will be taking at the new venue. No entries will be accepted on the day.

Admission for spectators is £3 and is via the first floor concourse. Coaches are free on proof of their coaching licence.
