PB & CATEGORY WIN FOR IAIN

Lothian Running Club’s Jill and Iain Horsburgh were in Parkrun action south of the border on Saturday. The mother and son duo took part in the Woodbank Parkrun in Stockport.
And the change of scenery inspired Iain to record a new PB as well as claiming a category win, his time of 21m 57s saw him place 12th overall and first in the JM14 classification.
Jill also conjured up a fine run to finish 36th overall, 5th female overall and 2nd in the VF50-54 category. Jill’s time of 24m 21s was only 19 seconds outside her course PB and almost 4 minutes quicker than her previous run at Woodbank in July.
