Charity Incentive For parkrun

Breakthrough Breast Cancer Logo

There is an extra incentive to break your PB at this weekend’s parkrun events around the UK. For every five seconds taken off your previous best, adidas will donate 2p to their partner charity Breakthrough Breast Cancer to coincide with Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Estimates reveal that parkrunners smash their PBs on a Saturday at an average of nearly 60 hours, which could results in a donation well in excess of £4000 to charity. Since 2007, adidas had raised £695,000 for Breakthrough Breast Cancer through the sales of the pink ribbon collection.

As well as the charitable motivation, each adult taking part in a UK parkrun is eligible to win one of five great adidas adiZero ‘light makes fast’ pack, including t-shirt, shorts and the extra light running shoe, the adiZero Feather 2.

Both runners and volunteers will be eligible to enter the competition. To enter simply click the link on the subsequent results email after Saturday’s event
