SCOTTISH VEST & TEAM WIN FOR SARAH
Club female captain Sarah Inglis won her first senior Scottish vest in road racing and helped Scotland to team victory in Frank Duffy 10 mile Rcae in Dublin.
The race is one of the main build up events for next months Dublin Marathon.
On a tough undulating course Sarah, who was racing competively over the distance for the first time covered the 10 mile circuit within Phoenix Park in 61 minutes 53 seconds for a 6th place finish.
Despite just missing out on her pre-race target of finishing within one hour, Sarah who turned 21 on Tuesday was pleased with her run, and with team mate Joasia Zakrzewski from Dumfries finishing in 3rd place the Scottish duo were victors in the team event ahead of Ireland, England and Wales.
