SCOTTISH GAS 5K WIN FOR SARAH

Lothian Running Club’s Sarah Inglis notched up yet another win at the weekend with victory in Sunday’s Scottish Gas 5k Road Race.

Sarah who has performed consistently well in road races this season covered the stiff 5000 metres course from the Scottish Gas offices in Granton in 17 minutes 46 seconds.

This also placed her in an excellent 3rd place from 89 finishers in the overall classification.

 

 A trio of runners represented the club in the 10k race at the same event, Steven Malcolm finished 57th in 41 minutes 32 seconds, he was followed home by Leanne Webster who was 108th overall and 10th female in 45m 26s  with club veteran Ian Leggett 175th and 6th M60 in 50m18s. 333 runners completed the course.
