3K SILVER FOR MAX

Running in the Scottish Athletics combined Under-20/Under-18 3000 metres Championship at Pitreavie Stadium in Dunfermline, Lothian Running Club’s Max McNeil raced to a silver medal in the Under-20 category.
In blustery conditions at the Fife track Max finished the race in 5th position overall in a time of 9 minutes 32.80 seconds which was well outside his PB of 9.16 set in an Open Graded meeting at Grangemouth last August.
