Lothian members at Cape Wrath Marathon

 
A handful of Lothian RC members made the long trek to Durness in the far North of Scotland to take part in the tough Cape Wrath Challenge Marathon.

Also known as the Campbell Lutyens Marathon, the Cape Wrath Challenge Marathon is extremely challenging, with, at one point, a climb of over 2,415 feet and is described by some as the toughest Marathon in the UK.
Alan Robertson, Jim Alexander and Mags Turnbull contested the individual race with Teresa and Jim Salvage in the two persons relay event.
Results
Individual marathon, 23rd Alan Robertson [3h 55m 57s], 28th Jim Alexander [4:03.17], 56th & 12th F Mags Turnbull [4:42.42].
Two persons relay,7th Jim Salvage [1:47.07], Teresa Salvage [2:11.59] Total 3:59.06].
