LONDON MARATHON OPENING FOR PARKRUNNERS

Parkrunners across the UK have an extra incentive for participating or volunteering in November. Three coveted places at the Virgin London Marathon 2012 have been provided by adidas in a special competition restricted to parkrunners. With ballot entries all now taken, this is a rare opening for runners who wish to take part in the UK’s biggest road race without taking one of the remaining charity places.

To be eligible to claim one of the places, you must take part by volunteering or by completing a parkrun 5k at any UK parkrun on Saturday, November 12,19 and 26. After which, you should follow the link on the post-run results email to be entered into the prize draw. Entrants must be 18 or over. Please note that if you’re feeling lucky and run all three Saturdays, you’ll have three times the chance!

The lucky winners will also receive a personalised footscan and adidas shoes to train with in the lead up to the big London race. Each winner will also be given a miCoach pacer to help you run your best ever marathon.
