GOOD FRIDAY IS JUST THAT FOR SARAH

Sarah Inglis got her Isle of Man Easter Athletics Festival off too a good start with victory in Friday nights 10k race.

Sarah covered the course which was based around Port Erin and Port St Mary in 35 minutes 56 seconds.

The men and women ran together with Sarah placing 35th overall and first female out of the 225 runners that completed the course. Sarah’s Edinburgh University womens team currently sit in second place after the first race two points behind fellow Scot’s Hunter Bog Trotters.

There is monetary prizes for the first six men and first six women. There is a total prize-pot of £4000 up for grabs over the three days.
