Dramathon Super-Vet titles for Shona and Paul

DRAMATHON SUPER VET TITLES FOR SHONA & PAUL

Another week and another Super-Vet title for Shona Young, and this time brother Paul also picked up the male Super-Vet award.

The LRC duo were in the North of Scotland taking part in the The Speyside Single Malt Marathon better known as ‘The Dramathon.’

The Dramathon is a marathon distance race along the Speyside Way from Glenfarclas distillery to Glenfiddich distillery.

The route takes in several distilleries along the route. Depending on the distance you run you can pick up the corresponding miniatures at the end of the race.

A total of 367 runners completed the race with Shona finishing an excellent 32nd overall 6th female and the winner of the Female Super Vet category in a time of 3h 36m 56s. Paul crossed the finish line in 3h 44m 48s to place 48th overall and leading male Super Vet.

Alan Robertson completed the LRC representation finishing 217th and 4th in the Vintage Vet category in 4h 43m 28s.
