Big club turn out at 3 x 1 mile relays

3 X 1 MILE RELAYS [Meadows]

Lothian Running Club contested the annual 3 x 1 mile relays at the Meadows in Edinburgh. The ever popular event saw the club field it’s biggest ever entry in both the male and female categories.
The highest placed Men’s team was the trio of Murray Close, Ryan Kirkland and Josh Dack who finished in 4th place. Leading the LRC women home in 5th place was Mhairi Inglis, Lana Turnbull and Andrea Cameron. The club ladies are past winners of the Women’s category. The veteran trio of Mike Murray, Cliff Dicker and Phil Jurczyk were the leading over 70s trio. A total of 117 teams took part.
