Introductory Orienteering Session

On Sunday May 26 th our youngsters’ group is having an introductory orienteering event in
Dechmont Law Park woods. Adults will be very welcome to join them, free of charge.
There are 10 checkpoints to be found in any order. You can run or walk, singly or in pairs, and find
as many as you have time for. Most checkpoints are by forest paths and simple to find. A few are
harder. It is about 2k to find them all by a good route.
We leave from the car park behind Deans High School at 10 am prompt.
Briefing is in the woods at 10.10.
