Club duo excel in Greater Manchester Marathon

LRC duo Alan Knowles and Euan McInnes both excelled to finish under the 3 hours mark in the ASICS Greater Manchester Marathon at the weekend.Alan who was making his marathon debut completed the course in an excellent 2 hours 51 minutes 27 seconds. Euan who was running his foutrth full marathon recorded his fastest ever time for the 26.2 miles with a time of 2 hours 58 minutes 27 seconds which bettered his previous best of 3:02.48 set at the Edinburgh Marathon Festival in 2016. A total of 13,371 runners completed the course with Alan finishing 259th and Euan 743rd.
