50 members participate in parkruns this week

LRC had a total of 50 runners out and about at the various parkruns on Saturday morning, the majority of them were at the local Livingston event where they had the first four finishers in the men’s category and first and third in the women’s. Josh Dack is the leading male finisher and took his tally to 29 on Saturday completing the 5k course in 17m 14s, he was followed home by Sam McIntosh 17.40, Craig Pirie 17.56 and Ryan Kirkland 18.15, the latter was the leading finisher in the 15-17 age group.

Jo Williams and Lana Turnbull have been the leading female finishers on a total of 70 occasions, it was Jo who came out on top on Saturday finishing in 18.45 to take her tally to 33, now only 4 behind Lana who finished 3rd in 20m 40s. The club were also represented in the parkruns at Meadowmill, Crathes Castle, Portobello, Aberdeen and Edinburgh.
