Sarah returns to track action with PB run in Seattle
After frustratingly having had to miss the entire 2018 track season through injury Lothian Running Club’s Sarah Inglis bounced back in some style with a PB run at the UW Invitational indoor meetimg in Seattle on Friday night.
Currently based in Canada Inglis, who was running for her home town club Langley Mustangs finished in 2nd place in the Women’s 5000 metres with a new PB time of of 15 minutes 35.89 seconds, this was almost 6 seconds quicker than her previous best of 15:41.28 which was set outdoors at the Portland Track Festival in Oregon in June 2017.
Victory in the race went to Caroline Kurgat, Alaska Anchorage [15:28.46] with Canadian internationalist Rachel Cliff,Miletomarathon almost 18 seconds behind Sarah in 3rd place in 15:53,39.
