Nicola returns with Javelin PB

Lothian Running Club’s Nicola Kellock made a remarkable comeback to athletics at the final meeting of the Scottish Throwers Grand Prix at Craigswood Stadium in Livingston at the weekend

Nicola was forced to give up athletics for more than three years. However, has been training hard again jor Javelin over the past six months.

The above competition was her first since April 2014. She produced an excellent set of throws, each one over 33 metres with her best of 36.27 metres being a new personal best. Her previous best had been 32.52m set at Grangemouth in July 2013.
