Erin & Hannah among the prizes at Alva Games

Sisters Erin and Hannah Steel were once again among the prizes on the Highland Games circuit. Competing at the 160th Famous Alva Games, Erin won her heat in the Youth’s 200 metres handicap before finishing in sixth place in the final. Hannah reached a podium place in the Youth’s 800 metres handicap with a third place finish behind Pitreavie AC duo Lewis Dow and Caleb McLeod. Hannah just missed out on a prize in the Youth’s 1600 metres finishing in 7th place. In the Youth’s mixed 4 x 133 metres relay Hannah and Erin teamed up with brothers Sean and Steven Bates from Tullibody and got the baton round without a hitch to finish in 3rd place of the six teams.
