Sarah does club proud in Glasgow
Less than 48 hours after finishing in a superb 2nd place and helping Scotland to the team title at the Armagh International Sarah Inglis was back in action at the Glasgow Indoor Grand Prix at the Emirates Arena .
The televised event saw the Lothian runner toe the start line in the Women’s 1500 metres with some of the World’s leading athletes, many of whom who have graced the Olympic and Diamond League stage.
Undaunted by the quality of the opposition and wearing her club vest with pride Sarah battled to a 9th place finish in 4:17.75. The race was won by Ethiopian-Dutch athlete Sifan Hassan in 4:01.40, in 2015 Hassan was the European Indoor 1500 gold medallist, bronze in the 1500 world championships and is the current European XC Champion.
