109 miles in 24 hours for Shona
An amazing effort saw Shona Young finish as 3rd female in the Glen More 24 hours race.
Despite having to contend with a knee injury over the latter stages of the race Shona still managed to complete 109.38 miles.
The Glenmore 24 Trail Race takes place in Glenmore Forest which is in the Scottish Highlands, just outside Aviemore, in The Cairngorms National Park.
The race loop is 4 miles long and the majority of it is run on wide forest trails and landrover tracks.
