Scottish Age-Group Championships

Nicole Furness and Andrew Jackson represented the Lothian club at the Scottish Athletics Age-Group Championships which were held at Grangemouth Stadium over the weekend. Both competed in the 100 and 200 metres events. Running in the Girls Under-13 category, Nicole finished runner up in her heat in both before being eliminated in the semi finals. She clocked 14.27 in her heat of the 100m before finishing in 5th place in the semi in 14.48. Her time of 29.62 in the 200m also booked her a semi final place where she just missed out in qualifying for the final  finishing in 4th in 29.54.

Andrew lined up in the Boys Under-15 category, he finished 6th in his 100m heat in 13.51 and 5th in the 200m in 26.55, missing out on further progress on this occasion.
