Bathgate Marathon/Haddington Half

Lothian Running Club’s Shona Young won the women’s category at Sunday’s Bathgate Marathon for the second year running. The clubs Paul Young and Finlay Slane also ran , official results weren’t available at time of going to press.

The Bathgate 7k was won by Katie Slane with Stephen Malcolm in 5th place.

24 hours earlier Shona Young also placed 2nd in her category in the Haddington Half Marathon in a time of 1h 41m 36s which also placed her 77th overall.

In the Mens race LRC were represented by 47th Pol McDonald 1:37.02 and 51st Alan Knowles 1;37.26. Douglas Selman, Corstorphine AC 1:20.18 and Joasia Zakrzewski, Dumfries were the respective winners of the male and female titles.
