4th place & PB for Scott at Swedish 10k Ch.
Lothian Running Club’s Scott Fraser produced a PB performance in finishing in 4th place in the Swedish 10k Road Running Championships in Malmo on Saturday.
In windy conditions Fraser stopped the clock at 29 minutes 57 seconds which was some 15 seconds quicker than his previous best[30.12] for a road PB which he set in the Telford 10k in December. The run should also move the Lothian runner up into 3rd place in the 2015 Scottish 10k rankings.
Scott is currently preparing for the World Orienteering Championships having already been selected for the UK team. The event takes place over six days in Moray and the Highlands in late July early August. Scott has already tasted success at the World Championships with a silver medal in Finland in 2013.
