The sunny morning turned into a wet afternoon just before the start, but well done everyone for finishing with a smile just the same! The 3 Carnethy runners who ran last year were all a lot faster. (See “Change” column). Part of an all-round impressive Carnethy turnout. Many thanks to Val and Mark for marshalling. Also to Ian Steel, International Smile Judge and Mary Lye, Muddy Patch Judge and bringer of extra goodies. Edel was my carer, course marker, and recorder.
