Max 8th at blustery Kilmarnock
Max McNeil was Lothian Running Club;s sole representative at the Scottish Athletics National Championships at the weekend.
Max contested the Mens 5000 metres at the Ayrshire Athletics Arena in Kilmarnock.
In less than ideal conditions of a strong wind and rain Max finished in 8th place in the 16 runner field in 15 minutes 28.32 seconds. The title went to Sean Fontana from the VP Glasgow club in 15:07.40.
