Category win for Shona in Windemere marathon.

Shona and Paul Young were the club’s representatives in Sunday’s Brathay Windemere Marathom. Conditions were sunny and calm as they set out on the very undulating course.
Paul finished in 94th place overall, 76th male and 17th MV45  in 3 hours 40 minutes 34 seconds. Shona was just behind in 99th place overall, 20th female and the victor in the FV45 age category in a time of 3 hours 42 minutes 02 seconds.

Paul said,” i would recommend the event, it’s for a good charitable cause supporting disadvantaged children to a better life.”
