Another Highland games award for Hannah

Despite having her season curtailed by injury, Hannah Steel still put enough points on the board to finish 3rd in the Scottish Highland Games Association Youth Girls League for races over 400 metres.

Hannah was presented with her award at the S.H.G.A. annual Awards Dinner in Glenrothes by former top athletics coach Stuart Hogg who was guest speaker for the evening. Hogg was Scottish Athletics Coach of the Year 3 times, he coached athletes who competed at Olympic and Commonwealth Games and World and European Championships. He was also responsible for introducing fitness coaching at football clubs and was with ,to name a few, Rangers, Aberdeen, Dundee United and is currently with Peterhead.
