14 second PB for Ryan in Meadows Mile
Lothian Running Club under-17 athlete Ryan Kirkland has reduced his road mile PB by a massive 14 seconds.
Running in the the Sri Chinmoy Mile race at the Meadows in Edinburgh on Wednesday[26th] evening Ryan recorded a time of 5m 7s in finishing in 12th place from a field of 80 runners.
Ryan’s previous best time of 5m 21s was set over the same course in May last year. His new mile pb comes only 7 days after setting new personal figures for the 2 miles also at the Meadows.
LRC veterans Alax Agnew and Cliff Dicker also contested the race finishing in 7m 26s and 8m 00s respectively.
