Category win for Mike at Melrose.

Club veteran Mike Lieberman was a category winner in the Trimontium XI Trail Race at Melrose in the Scottish Borders.

Mike covered the 11 miles route which takes in the Three Eildon Hills and along the River Tweed in 1 hour 52 minutes 58 seconds.

This placed him an excellent 46th out of 107 finishers and the leader in the M65 category.

Mike has an amazing record in parkruns for his age, since 2011 he has been an age category first finisher on almost 230 occasions, mainly at Portobello and Whitstable, if you check his record you will see he is also ultra consistent always finishing aroun 21-22 minutes superb running for a M65!
