Jo helps Scots claim bronze in Ireland

A week after helping the East District to the Scottish Inter-District Cross Country title at Stirling, Lothian Running Club’s Jo Williams was back among the medals running for Scotland at the Home Countries Cross Country International in Dundonald, Northern Ireland.
Jo along with team mates Mhairi McLennan,Michelle Sandison and Rebecca Burns raced to bronze medals in the Senior Women’s race which also featured international athletes from outside Britain.
Jo covered the 8k course at the Billy Neill Centre of Excellence in 30 minutes 04 seconds to place 31st overall and 3rd Scot.
