Great Scottish races/East Neuk 10k

Lothian Running Club members were in action in all three events over the Great Scottish Run weekend in Glasgow.
In the Women’s10k Jo Williams 35.59 just missed out on a podium place finishing in 4th place behind Gemma Steel,Charnwood 34.00, Mhairi Maclennan Edinburgh Uni 34.12 and Elspeth Curran Kilbarchan .
LRC’s leading male 10k finishers both recorded PB’s, Robbie Kennedy finished 18th in 33.35 with Malcolm Lang just behind in 22nd place and 3rd M40 in 36.45. Ryan Kirkland was 5th in the under-17 age category in 36.45.William Francis also recorded a pb.
In the half marathon there was PB’s for Owen Williams, Euan McInnes and Andy McKenna.

Ryan Ferguson was in Fife for the East Neuk 10k in Anstruther where he placed 88th of 211 finishers in 48m 03s. The race was won by Sam Fernando of the local Fife AC club.
