Paul 3rd overall in Fife/Shona runs 100 miles

Lothian Running Club’s Paul Young finished in 3rd place in the overall standings of the Trailbusters Series held within the Balbirnie Park in Markinch. In the third and final race of the series on Sunday Paul finished in 5th place and 2nd M50 covering the 4.5 miles course in 28 minutes 57 seconds. Chris Russell,Leven Las Vegas was the overall winner ahead of Malcolm Finlayson, Stirling Triathlon Club with Paul in third place. The previous day in the Highland Perthshire Marathon from Aberfeldy Paul again occupied third place this time in the M50 category with his time of 3h 28m 02s also placing him 20th overall.

GLENMORE 24 HOURS RACE
Shona Young took part in the Glenmore 24 hours race, results are determined by how many miles a competitor can reach in the stipulated 24 hours.With thoughts of running the Berlin Marathon in a couple of weeks Shona pulled out on reaching 100 miles with the time at 21 hours 30 minutes.
