Hannah retains 800m title at Cupar HG.

Lothian Running Club’s Hannah Steel got her 2018 Highland games season off to a winning start with victory in the Youth’s 800 metres handicap at the Cupar Highland Games in Fife on Sunday. Running from the 170 metres mark Hannah, who won the same race the previous year crossed the finish line in 1m 52.29s as she came home ahead of Matty Fleming,Kelso and Anna Suttie, Anstruther.
There was further success for the club in the Whitburn Boundary 5 mile race where Lana Turnbull led home the female contingent and also finished in second place overall. Jim Alexander and Jim Salvage finished 4th and 15th respectively.
