Sarah Rio bound following another 10k win.
Over in Canada Sarah Inglis made it back to back road race wins with victory in the Global Energy Dempsters 10k race in Richmond B.C. The Lothian athlete’s winning time of 33 minutes 28 seconds was also a personal best which bettered her previous weeks 33m 43s which she set in winning the Eastside 10k in Vancouver.
This unique race was run in aid of a worthy cause and will help support the local foodbank. The race sponsors were donating two slices of bread to the Richmond Foodbank for every kilometre completed by each participant in the race.
As part of her prize for winning the race Sarah has won a trip to Brazil next year to take part in the Global Energy Race in Rio de Janeiro.
